What is Fliplog?
Fliplog is a content publishing framework for mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone, Android and Kindle devices. It’s workflow driven architecture allows us do rapid e-Book publishing to different App Stores. Publishers enjoy fast turn around on digital publishing initiatives at a dramatically low cost. Framework includes basic reader functionality, social sharing features, cloud integration and extensive content re-purposing workflow. Core framework is used across all Fliplog application family.
What are the main features of Fliplog reader?
Fliplog reader comes with bare minimum but essential set of features. Optimal feature set is used to provide seamless reading experience. Key functionality includes table of content, chapter menu, bookmark, last read, soundtrack inclusion, search, page flip turn, font size adjustment and many more.
Which format I should use to convert my document into eBook app?
Simple answer is ‘it depends’. If the goal is to create text heavy eBook then ePUB, HTML, and Microsoft Word are good starting formats. We have an extensive content re-purposing work-flow and in most cases we end up converting content to suit target device experience.
Why should I care about iPad and how that will change my eBook design?
iPad is a unique computing device. Multiple features, full fledged operating system, and a really path breaking form factor makes for a great platform to imagine new reading experiences.
